When an organization is facing a challenge – maybe it’s an emergency incident that places everything in serious jeopardy, or its a challenge developing a strategic plan for the future, Myriad Consulting works cooperatively with all parties to help create the future through solutions management.

Myriad Consulting Principal: Andy Ackerman

After a 37 year career with the British Columbia Ministry of Environment where he progressed through a variety of roles within the ministry, Andy retired as the Regional Manager of Environmental Stewardship for the Peace Region at the end of June, 2007. Throughout his career, Andy worked as a project coordinator and team supervisor working to delegate, motivate and help teams achieve goals. Andy is a qualified trainer in team building, negotiating and communications, and has the ability to anticipate, analyze and resolve problems while maintaining professionalism. Andy has extensive knowledge and experience of local Industry; First Nations; Trappers; and Guide Outfitters. Andy’s developed working relationships on a variety of platforms and is committed to public education and open liaison between government and private industry to promote excellence in resource management.

Mission Statement

Myriad Consulting Inc., through the use of innovative management tools, works with those in the pursuit of defining their future.

Andy has also dedicated himself to a wide range of community organizations including: Former Deputy Executive Commissioner for Western Canada for Scouts Canada;  Chair of the Fort St. John Public Library; Past Chair of the North East Library Federation; Past President of the Fort St. John and District Chamber of Commerce; Past President of the BC Library Trustee Association; Past President of the Fort St John Child Development Centre, Former Board member of Tourism Fort St John, Past Deputy Council Commissioner for Scouts Canada for Northern British Columbia and the Yukon, member of the CT Scanner Fund Raising Team for the Fort St John Hospital Foundation, Former Director of the Board for Celebrate Canada,  Vice Chair of Northern Lights College Board of Governors and Past President of the BC Rural Network.
